Kathleen M ErwinKathleen Maynor Erwin grew up on a small farm in northeast Louisiana, where she always had a horse to ride. Today she and her husband, Aaron, live on a farm of their own: Yellow Horse Ranch, located in middle Tennessee. There they raise American quarer horses and Savannah/Kiko goats. Erwin's book I Want to Be You was inspired by her horse Zip, a real and beloved palomino stallion. Kathleen has been working as a registered nurse for more than thirty-six years. As a mother, grandmother, and healthcare professional, she has seen children struggle with self-esteem and identity issues. Kathleen hopes to use the universal appeal of animals to help young people learn valuable life lessons. She plans to publish a second book titled The Goat with Green Legs. Read More Read Less
