Her research interests revolve around Indigenous literatures and literary theory, with a focus on Inuit literature and performance; Indgenous research methodologies; Indigenous languages; Indigenous literary nationalism and literary history; Aboriginal rights, treaties, and land claims; and the concept and practice of reconciliation.
