Ken AutreyFor over forty years, Ken Autrey taught English in various public schools and universities, including schools in Ghana, Japan, and China. Most of his career was spent at Francis Marion University in South Carolina. He retired from there in 2011 and rturned with his wife Janne Debes to Auburn, his hometown. He has two daughters and six grandchildren. Ken's poems have appeared widely in literary magazines including Atlanta Review, Chattahoochee Review, Cimarron Review, Poetry Northwest, Southern Poetry Review, Tar River Poetry, Texas Review, and others. His work is often anthologized, and he has published two chapbooks: Pilgrims (Main Street Rag, 2010) and Rope Lessons (Longleaf Press, 2013). He helps organize and coordinate the Third Thursday Poetry Reading Series at the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University. Read More Read Less
