Ken WaldmanSince 1995, Ken Waldman has made his living as a freelance writer, musician, performer, and educator, appearing in a wide variety of venues for a wide variety of audiences. In addition to six previous full-length poetry collections, he has a memoir ad a children's book of poems. He also has nine CDs which combine original poetry with Appalachian-style string-band music and Alaska-set storytelling. Ken Waldman has an MFA from University of Alaska Fairbanks, and his work has appeared in such publications as Arts & Letters, Beloit Poetry Journal, Massachusetts Review, Puerto del Sol, Quarterly West, and in anthologies published by University of Alaska Press, University Press of New England, and Everyman's Library.
