Kenneth C. HolmesKenneth C. Holmes is Emeritus Director of the Department of Biophysics at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research (MPI), Heidelberg, Germany. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and recipient of the Aminoff Prize, the Gabor Prize, and the Europan Latsis Prize. Holmes' long-term collaboration with Aaron Klug began in the late 1950s at Birkbeck College and continued at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge before his move to MPI in 1968.
