Kesha L Grant

Kesha L. Grant is an educator and children's book author. During her twenty years as an educator, Kesha struggled to find books that represented the rich cultural diversity of her students. Frustrated, Kesha decided to channel her energy bypursuing a writing career. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University, where she discovered a love for writing about unsung heroes, like James Forten.
