Kevin Rudd
Kevin Rudd is Australia's ambassador to the United States. He was Prime Minister of Australia (2007-2010), then Minister for Foreign Affairs (2010-2012), before becoming Prime Minister again in 2013, president and CEO of Asia Society, and chairmanof the Asia Society Policy Institute (2015-2023). Rudd speaks Mandarin and has an excellent knowledge of Chinese leaders, including Xi Jinping, with whom he has met many times.
