Kim BlockKim Block is a person who stutters with a BA in Human Relations from Concordia University and a certificate in Family Life Education. Kim has been an active advocate in the stuttering community for almost twenty years by publishing articles about stutering, facilitating support groups, and presenting workshops and lectures across Canada and the US. She was the past president for the British Columbia Association of People who Stutter and she was the keynote speaker for the Canadian Stuttering Association's conference in 2017. Kim's newest project for the last three years has been writing a children's series about stuttering which has lead to media exposure and the opportunity to continue advocacy work for the stuttering community.
