Kim C LeeKim C. Lee - a lover of stories that tickle the heart - is a children's book author and literacy advocate. As a mother, she can attest to the importance of diverse representation in literature and the impacts that its absence and presence can have onchildren. Inspired by her son, she writes to illuminate the perspectives and experiences of African American children. Kim released her first book, The Night Owl, in July 2020 and then followed it up with second book, Meet Frankie Jordan, in January 2021.
