Kim McKennaKim D. McKenna, MEd, RN, CEN, EMT-P, is the Director of Education for the St. Charles County Ambulance District and Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University, located in the metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri area. There she is primary instructor for he paramedic program, program director for the district's emergency medical technician programs, and leads a training staff that provides education for district paramedics and for firefighters and emergency personnel within St. Charles County. Kim has been teaching in EMS for more than 25 years. She formerly worked as an emergency and intensive care nurse, and served as Chief Medical Officer for the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District for 6 years.
