Kim UlrickKim Ulrick is an award-winning writer and author from the far south coast of NSW. Kim started life as a junior writer and researcher with The Australian Financial Review before embarking on a 30-year career working with national law enforcement agences and policy departments. In July 2024, Kim released her debut novel, Bad Country, an Australian gothic and crime thriller, and in August 2024, she won the Banjo Paterson prize for her short story, Shame the Stars, a love story inspired by her grandparents more than 75-year relationship. Kim was a judge in the Eurobodalla Mayors' Writing Competition for schoolchildren in the Eurobodalla Shire and has had short stories published internationally. Her second novel, Bad People, is due for release in March 2025.
