Kiran Chhokar

Kiran B Chhokar is a cultural geographer. She heads the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) Higher Education Programme, and has been visiting faculty at the Portland State University, USA. Dr Chhokar is also co-editor of Asian Women and heir Work: A Geography of Gender and Development (1998), and is the series editor of the EnviroScope series of thematic manuals for college teachers, developed in collaboration with the World Resource Institute, USA. She is currently working with the University of Lancanshire, UK, on developing a blended learning programme on Ecotourism, Conservation and Development.
