Being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and realizing the prevalence of incarcerated survivors of abuse, Kishana was eager to learn more. This deeply rooed passion led to years of extensive research. After performing a spoken word piece at a youth talent show, Kishana was offered a job to advise and mentor the youth. Inspired to reach audiences of all ages, with her work, Kishana moved from Pennsylvania to Boston to become a Domestic Violence Advocate. If she's not walking the streets of South Boston with her hot tea from Dunkin Donuts, she's working on a piece of literature to build community awareness around this issue. Now, at the age of twenty-six, Kishana is focused on her second biggest breakthrough along her healing journey, publishing her first book, The Diary of a Codependent. Read More Read Less
