L J McDanielWhen I was younger, I wrote poetry as it was required by my elementary school to do so, and I found that I liked creating poems. They would help me cope with some of the hardships that come with growing up, yet it killed me whenever I had to share thm in front of the class. Our teacher was very inspiring, though, and taught us things like structure and rhyme scheme. Now writing feels more like an art and has given me a positive outlook on the world that surrounds me.
