L. A. Weatherly
L.A. (Lee) Weatherly was born in Arkansas and moved to the UK in 1995 where she worked as a PA for a film and literary agency, dealing with submissions. She says, “I desperately wanted to be a writer myself, but was held back by the fact that publshed authors were all gods up on Mount Olympus.” Her first book, Child X, was shortlisted for the Sheffield, Leicester and Red House Book Awards, and her Angel series has been a massive success.
