Lamprini SeremetiDr Lamprini Seremeti is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, School of Applied Economics and Social Sciences, Agricultural University of Athens. Since 2005, her teaching experience in Higher Educaton Institutions has included subjects such as expert systems, artificial intelligence, semantic web, business management, programming languages, calculus, algebra, statistics, differential equations, research methodology, and informatics applied in pedagogy. She has also taught Informatics, Mathematics, and Special Education in Primary and Secondary Education since 2001. Dr Seremeti holds a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in propagating knowledge in networks of aligned ontologies, from Hellenic Open University; a Master in Special Education from the University of Rome; a Master in Pure Mathematics from the University of Patras; a Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Patras; a Bachelor in Informatics from the University of Western Greece; and a Bachelor in Law from the University of Nicosia. She has participated as a researcher in EU-funded projects, where her work involved mathematical modeling, data processing, knowledge representation and management, and the conceptualization of heterogeneous environments (socio-economic, educational, biomedical, ambient intelligent).
