Larissa SchmidLarissa Schmid is a researcher based at Zentrum Moderner Orient in Berlin. She holds a M.A. in History and Middle Eastern Studies from Free University Berlin and currently finalises her PhD on North African prisoners-of-war in Germany during te First World War, focussing especially on their visual representation in propaganda, the news media, and scientific publications.
