Laura C Cotesta

Laura Cotesta was born in Sudbury, Ontario on December 30, 1978. At age eight she was diagnosed with an ependymoma spinal cord tumour. Despite it returning five times, and between ongoing treatment and repeated surgery, Laura was determined to liv a normal life. She passed away July 22 1997, just a few months after her high school graduation. More than 20 years later she continues to inspire a community.
