Laura Ellen Anderson
When she’s not trying to take over the world or fighting sock-stealing monsters, Laura Ellen Anderson is a professional children’s book author and illustrator who lives in north London. She is the author and illustrator of the bestselling Amelia Fng and Rainbow Grey series, as well as Marnie Midnight, all of which are published by Farshore in the UK and in over 20 languages worldwide. Her latest series, Star Kitties, publishes in 2026. Laura is also the creator of Evil Emperor Penguin for the Phoenix comic, she is also the illustrator of Sibéal Pounder’s Witch Wars series. She has also created new cover illustrations for Terry Pratchett's Tiffany Aching series, as well as Enid Blyton’s Famous Five series.
