Her poetry has appeared in boundary 2, The Brooklyn Rail, jubilat, and Bettering American Poetry 2015, among others. Russell is the recipient of ellowships from Cave Canem, VIDA/The Home School, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
