Laurie TriefeldtLaurie Triefeldt was born and educated in Toronto, Canada. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and the University of Windsor, Laurie and her husband Rein, an internationally respected sculptor, moved to Trenton, New Jersey, in 1989. Laurie is th creator of "World of Wonder," the weekly, illustrated newspaper feature devoted to exploring educational themes and examining the realms of history, science, nature, and technology. Over the past 15 years, "World of Wonder" has appeared in more than 100 newspapers worldwide, and in 2007 it won the National Cartoonists Society's award for best newspaper illustration.
