Lea Simma

Lea Simma was born in 1989 and was raised in the Lávnnjitvuopmi Sámi reindeer herding area. She now lives in Dálvvadis/Jokkmokk. She has always advocated for Sámi rights and has been active in Sámi organizations both nationally an internationally. She has translated texts, books, films and television shows. She works at Tjállegoahte - Författarcentrum Sápmi, an organization that promotes Sámi literature.
