Leslie RupleyLeslie Rupley is a personal historian and consultant who has written more than a dozen memoirs for her clients. While writing her childhood vignettes she realized that her experience could help others who have wanted to write their own stories. Accoringly, she expanded her memoir to provide tips for them as well as for those who have already begun their journey. Leslie lives in Walnut Creek, California, adjacent to an extensive trail system where she likes to spend her early mornings hiking. Her husband Bill, family, and friends are central to her life, but she also reads, knits, and volunteers. Her remaining time is divided between writing a sequel to Beyond the Silk Mills, giving presentations related to her books, and teaching classes about how to begin and improve memoir writing.
