Libby PurvesLibby Purves is a radio presenter, journalist and author. Joining the BBC as a radio presenter in 1971, by 1976 she joined BBC 4's Today programme, becoming the show's first female reporter. She went on to have a regular column in The Times, and alsoserved as The Times' drama critic. She has written over twenty books, including twelve novels.
