Liesle BellBorn and raised by artists in South Africa, Liesl moved to New York after obtaining a university degree in set and costume design. She worked in fashion and advertising in the Big Apple and eventually started her illustration career by creating corpoate illustrations for IBM and Xerox's Human Resources Intranet website. After 13 years she went back to the warmth of the South African sun and started a line of handcrafted greeting cards and illustrated numerous educational and private Children's books, one of which was awarded the 'This Book Rocks' Award for Illustration. Her motto is: Create with a smile and a wink.
