Lifang Hu
Dr. Hu received her bachelor’s degree in biology, a Master’s in biomedical engineering, and her PhD in man-machine and environmental engineering. She has an interdisciplinary background spanning mechanobiology, aging biology, bone diseases cell an molecular biology and aerospace medicine research. She has published over 60 peer-reviewed publications, including 2 ESI highly cited papers and 1 top 1% Scopus-indexed journal article. Additionally she has edited a book as editor and filed 12 invention patent applications. She is the Member of the Chinese Society of Biomechanics, Member of American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society. She is the Associate Editor of Frontiers in Physiology and Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports and BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders. Moreover, she serves as Guest Editor for Seminars in Cell and Developmental Biology and Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology. She was awarded “Outstanding Paper Award for Young Scientists by the Committee on Space Research.
