Lina B. SoaresLina Soares is a Professor in the College of Education’s Department of Middle Grades and Secondary Education at Georgia Southern University. Dr. Soares received her Ph.D. in Curriculum Instruction from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte in 009. Dr. Soares has published over 40 research and practitioner-oriented articles and conducted numerous research presentations from international to national and state settings, focusing on the development of teacher leaders, effective instruction for graduate online programs, and effective pedagogical practices for literacy teachers. She is the co-author of Questions from the Classroom, Association of Middle Level Education, and co-editor of Enhancing the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Online Learning Environments, IGI Global.
