Linda FritzEditor, writer, and award-winning essayist Linda Fritz, author of Answering Alaska's Call: Milo 'Doc' Fritz, was introduced to Alaska and the joys of adventurous travel at age sixteen. Originally from suburban Philadelphia, Linda jumped at the chanceto spend the summer in Alaska when offered employment as a nurse's aide for her uncle-Doc Fritz, Alaska's legendary flying doctor. While working in clinics and traveling throughout Alaska with her aunt and uncle, Linda absorbed the land's vastness and the can-do spirit of Alaskans-experiences that have influenced her life and writing ever since.
