Linda J AlbertanoLinda was a phenomenon from the 1960s to the 2020s. Reared as a child in various unkind foster homes in Denver, Colorado, she excelled as a student in high school and at the University of Colorado, and later at UCLA film school. She was a beauty withbrains, and early on perfected her skills in Los Angeles. Her songs were recorded by Linda Ronstadt and Taj Mahal, et al., and her stagecraft on world tours by the American impresario Alice Cooper and troupe. She did solo performances in North America, Europe, and Africa. In Los Angeles, she was honored with the title of Poetry Diva. Linda performed in over 300 venues since the 1960s, including the Getty Center and the John Anson Ford Theatre in Los Angeles, the Long Beach Arena, the October Gallery in London, the One World Poetry Festival in Amsterdam, the summer Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and many others. She was commissioned by Santa Monica, CA, Long Beach Harbor, CA, and other cities to do public performances and environmental studies in poetic forms. Media reviews of her performances were always glowing with appreciative praise. Sadly, this majestic icon, who by many was an "eternal" lover of humanity and art, passed away on September 13, 2022. It was left to her loving husband, Frank Lutz, to put together her archives and poetry of almost sixty years for the public to see and cherish.
