Linda K McLeanLinda McLean was born and raised in the city of Detroit. As an educator for 39 years, she spent 15 years teaching in Detroit, and 24 years in the suburban school district of Walled Lake. She taught all of the elementary school grade levels as well asseven years in art education. The last eleven years of her teaching career were spent as the School Library Media Specialist where she became inspired to write books for children, two of which have been published. Ms. McLean enjoys travel, spending time communing with nature, kayaking, artistic endeavors, singing with community groups, reading, and writing. She has painted three Little Free Libraries for her local community. Linda is the mother of three grown children and grandmother of nine.
