Lisa A HartLisa A Hart was born in California but grew up in rural Connecticut on 25 acres of fields, woods, streams -- and a pond. She credits her father for helping her develop a positive and respectful bond with nature and her mother for introducing her to dverse and interesting cultures. Lisa graduated from Warren Wilson College (1985; BA in Intercultural Studies) and The University of Connecticut (1989; MA in Medical Anthropology). She has worked as Associate Director of a private non-profit organization in North Carolina, owner of a landscaping company, and partner in an organic gardening business. Lisa presently lives in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York.
