Lisa EmanuelBorn in New Zealand, Lisa Emanuel studied law and political science in Wellington, Jerusalem and Sydney. In addition to writing fiction, she works as a competition lawyer in a major global law firm. She has also worked as a political staffer, a judges associate and in marketing and communications. She has studied at the Faber Writing Academy in Sydney, completed a mentorship with acclaimed novelist Kathryn Heyman, and was awarded Highly Commended in the ASA Mentorship Prize for an early draft of this manuscript.
