lisa minerva luxx is a queer writer, performer, essayist, poetry educator and activist of British Syrian heritage.
Winner of the Out-Spoken Prize for Performance Poetry 2018, luxx’s poetry, essays and opinions are published internationallyin newspapers, magazines and anthologies including by Hachette, Saqi, i-D, Dazed, Tate Britain, The International Times, Verve Poetry Press and Wasafiri. Her poetry has been broadcast across channels including BBC Radio 4, VICE TV and ITV. She headlines literary events in the UK and Middle East, including shows at the Royal Albert Hall, Latitude Festival and Station Beirut. She was named one of the top four queer poets by Diva magazine. She is founder of The Sisterhood Salon, a feminist literary gathering in Beirut.
