Lise Tremblay
Lise Tremblay was born in Chicoutimi. Chemin Saint-Paul is her sixth work. She has received much recognition for her work: she won the Governor General's Award for fiction her novel La Danse juive (translated as Mile End) in 1999. In 2003, er short story collection La Héronnière (translated as The Hunting Ground) won the Grand prix du livre de Montréal, the Prix des Libraires, and the Prix France-Québec.
