Lorenzo Cañás Bottos is Professor of Social Anthropology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He is the author of Old Colony Mennonites in Argentina and Bolivia: Nation Making, Religious Conflict an Imagination of the Future (Brill, 2008), Christenvolk: Historia y Etnografía de una Colonia Menonita (Antropofagia, 2005) and co-editor of Political Transformation and National Identity Change (Routledge, 2008).
