Lorenzo Faggioni

Lorenzo Faggioni currently works as Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Pisa. He obtained his MD degree (2004), the board certification in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology (2008), the PhD degree in ‘Health Technologies: evluation and management of innovations in the biomedical field' (2011), and the Master in Oncologic Imaging (2020) at the same University. He is member of several international societies (ESR, ESOI, EuSoMII, RSNA) and past-president of the Imaging Informatics Council of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM). His main research interests include imaging informatics (with a special focus on artificial intelligence, radiomics and structured reporting), oncologic and cardiovascular applications of CT and MRI, and optimisation of CT acquisition protocols. To date he is author of more than 100 articles published in indexed journals, more than 200 conference papers and more than 20 book chapters.
