Lorne Falk

Lorne Falk is Canadian arts educator with interests in contemporary visual and media arts, digital culture, and cultural theory and criticism. Falk has written and published more than 60 essays, produced multiple catalogues and books, and curated ore than 150 exhibitions. From 1989 to 1994 he was Program Director at The Banff Centre, where he created and directed an international multidisciplinary residency program for artists and scholars. Among Falk's many appointments during his multidisciplinary career, he has served as Dean of Faculty, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA), Boston; Director and Chief Curator, Walter Phillips Gallery, Banff; as a consultant for The Getty Trust, Los Angeles and the Hong Kong Arts Centre; and on the editorial board of Convergence - The Journal for Research into New Media Technologies, Luton.
