Lorraine Ann CobcroftLorraine Cobcroft is an Australian author who spent much of her working life penning instructional and technical books and ghost-writing informational works. In semi-retirement, she turned to fiction and creative non-fiction, publishing short storiesand novels. Born in Armidale, NSW, Lorraine has lived in four countries and worked in a diverse range of industries. A challenging childhood and marrying a ''Forgotten Australian'' has given her a rare depth of understanding and emotional perspective, creating a burning desire to ''nudge the world a little'' with her writing - driving greater understanding, empathy and, hopefully, social change.
