M. H. Birkelund began writing at the age of 16. Since then, she has grown up reading and living in many fictional worlds.

When she isn't reading other stories, her mind is busy cooking up new ideas for stories to write. It seems to be most roductive when she's swimming.

She lives with her husband and two daughters, who are somewhat annoyed that she only writes and reads stories about two people falling in love. All the time.
