M Travis LaneM. Travis Lane is the author of the poetry book A TENT, A LANTERN, AN EMPTY BOWL (Palimpsest Press, 2019). She taught briefly at Cornell and at the University of New Brunswick, and she has been an Honorary Research Associate with the English departmet at the University of New Brunswick for many years. She has published seventeen books of poetry, a collection of reviews, and has received numerous prizes and awards. She was shortlisted for the Governor General's Award in 2015 and received the New Brunswick Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence in the Literary Arts in 2017.
