Macha YaoMacha Yao is a French-British illustrator based in Taiwan. She's inspired by a lifelong obsession with comics, lava lamps, arcades, neon signs, and the faded magic of old seaside funfairs - as well as her two children. After studying cinema edting and SFX, she now channels her love for storytelling as an illustrator and designer, bringing her quirky characters to life with vibrant colours, funky patterns, and silly goose energy. Macha believes books should empower kids, spark their confidence, and she always aims to give them a good laugh through her work.
