Madeleine Reeves
Madeleine Reeves is a senior lecturer in social anthropology at the University of Manchester and editor of Central Asian Survey. Her interests lie in the anthropology of politics and place, with a particular focus on Russia andCentral Asia. Her monograph Border Work: Spatial Lives of the State in Rural Central Asia (Cornell University Press, 2014) won the 2015 Joseph Rothschild Prize and the 2016 Alec Nove Prize.
