Madelon KoelingaMadelon Koelinga (1991) lives in a small village near Gouda in The Netherlands. She gets inspired by old Disney classics, photography and Broadway musicals. Creating her own picture book was a wish come true. Ever since she was a little girl, he knew she wanted to be an illustrator and in 2013 she graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam as an illustrator. She loves to illustrate for children, picture books but educative things as well, but her work can also be used for other target groups. Her work can best be described as imaginative and detailed and though she learned many techniques, Madelon prefers to use aquarelle, acrylic paint and fine liner pen.
