Maecy AshmoreMaecy Ashmore is a choreographer, dancer, and visual artist. As a Chicagoland native she received her dance training from Interlochen Arts Academy, A&A Ballet, and Fox Valley Ballet. She obtained her BFA in Ballet in 2024, graduating summa cum laude rom Texas Christian University (TCU) with minors in Studio Art and Economics. Maecy has created choreographic and visual art works for the Fox Valley Ballet Showcase, Rock the Runway fashion show, and for several TCU shows. Beyond her schooling, Maecy has choreographed several solos and small works for festivals and projects, and freelances as a visual artist, mainly creating custom murals and paintings. She is passionate about investigating the relationship between dance and other art forms, particularly in creating ceramic sets and costumes for her choreographic works.
