Mahendra Babu KuruvaDr Mahendra Babu Kuruva, currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Management, HNB Garhwal University, has a postgraduate teaching experience of 5 years. He is also the Assistant Dean, Students Welfare, and the Assitant Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the University. His areas of specialization are international finance and open economy macroeconomics. Along with publications in various national and international journals, Dr Kuruva has also contributed columns on contemporary international issues to the editorial pages of Eenadu, one of the largest circulated dailies in India. He also wrote columns on political and economic issues in reputed Hindi news dailies such as Amar Ujala and Hindustan that are widely circulated in seven North Indian states.

He was the co-convener for three events of the industry–academia interface held at HNB Garhwal University. He has also been a resource person to many academic institutions and also government organizations to deliver lectures on issues of contemporary relevance.
