Mahesh LuthiaMahesh Luthia PhD, is Professor and Area Chair, Human Resources at CIMR. A Ph. D. in management from NMIMS he is an ICF certified Transformative Leadership Coach. His doctoral research focussed on re-conceptualising Customer Orientation in the contemorary Indian BFSI sector. He has taught various courses at national and international universities in areas of Strategic Management, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resources, International Business and Organisation Development. As a consultant and lead project manager in his previous assignment, he was involved in a wide range of consulting assignments, profit, and non-profit clients to help them achieve their goals and manage human resources. During his diverse career of over 27 years in industry and academia he possesses unique experiences of managing operations and working across different cultures. His research interest and contribution include topics covering comparative HR strategies, cross-cultural studies, leadership, digitalisation of business, sustainable business practices and change management. His research philosophy is based on Interpretivism, a research paradigm in social sciences that focuses on adding to the body of knowledge and making meaningful contributions to the industry. He has papers published in high indexed and peer reviewed National and international journals. For his research in management, he has collaborated with various international authors from different countries.
