Maija Rhee DevineMaija Rhee Devine (¿¿¿) is a Korean-born writer, Korean War survivor, and the author of an award-winning autobiographical novel/love story, The Voices of Heaven set during the Korean War, and a poetry chapbook, Long Walks on Short Days. Her B.A. is fom Sogang Jesuit University in Seoul, her M.A. from St. Louis University. Her works have appeared in literary journals including The Kenyon Review. Honors include an NEA grant, finalist in William Faulkner Creative Writing Competition, Emily Dickinson Poetry Award, and nominations to the Pushcart Prize and O. Henry Awards.
