Manorama SrivastavaDr. Mrs. Manorama Srivastav, born in 1947, is a historian and an educator who has dedicated her life to social service. Her memoir writing serves as a bridge between the past and present, reinforcing the important connections that bind history with cntemporary life. A traditional patriot, she carries the legacy of her father, the timeless Hindi poet, Shri Ram Sinhasan Sahay Madhur ji. As a researcher of history herself, she has made remarkable contributions to the literary heritage of Ballia district through her insightful memoirs.Her life stands as a testament to the growth, sacrifice, and resilience of a traditional Indian woman, spanning two centuries of cultural evolution. Dr. Srivastav has been honored with departmental awards in the field of education, and has also been recognized as a Scout Leader. As a cultural ambassador, she had the privilege of visiting Nepal, furthering the exchange of traditions. She actively participated and was honoured in the 100th birth centenary celebrations of the legendary Mahadevi Verma (Hindi sahitya sammelan, Prayag in 2006) .
