Mansi SharmaDr. Mansi Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Environmental Sciences at Sharda School of Engineering and Science, Sharda University, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her Ph.D. in 2023 in the field of Environment Sciene from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She completed her B.Sc. in 2013 in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University, India and M.Sc. in 2015 in Biodiversity and Conservation, University School of Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She was a rank 1 holder and gold medalist in M.Sc. and qualified UGC-NET (JRF) in 2018. Her areas of research interest include Ecophysiology, Stress physiology, Sustainable agriculture, Biodiversity & Conservation, and Environmental remediation. She has published 12 research/review articles in high impact factor journals of National/International repute (All Scopus/SCI-indexed) and 2 book chapters. Her most cited articles in the last few years include: 1. “Essential oils as anticancer agents: Potential role in malignancies, drug delivery mechanisms, and immune system enhancement” (published in the Journal of Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy; IF = 6.9) and 2. “Plant essential oils as biopesticides: Applications, mechanisms, innovations, and constraints” (Published in the MDPI Journal Plants; IF = 4.4).
