Manuel SchweizerManuel Schweizer is an internationally renowned ornithologist and lifelong birder with a strong expertise in the systematics and identification of Palearctic birds. He is curator of ornithology at the Natural History Museum of Bern and lecture at University of Bern, Switzerland. He is co-author of a field guide, Birds of Central Asia, and his work on avian systematics, phylogenetics and biogeography have been published in major scientific journals.
